Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
Ok Marco. The prop blades are cut at the lowest point but i see they need to be lower down in the spinner. As for the cannon muzzle, no problem, just some gentle sanding. Thanks for the details.

Maybe if you give him some respite re "never ending missing/adding/arranging detail" he would start using this chart nowskyhigh wrote:Brian the colours Should be RLM 79 Sanbraun..and RLM 78 Himmelblau..

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
So which is it Marco, No.17 or 19? Why do you keep on calling it Sandbraun when it is sandgelb?

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
Marco, i bought testors 2110, Italian Sand and 2088 RLM70 Sandgelb. The Italian Sand is darker and more brownish than RLM79 which is more on the yellow side. Which shall i use?

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
Brian you know more then me , that there is a lot of interpretation of german RLM colours...
Like the eg..the 82-83 mix etc etc..some say the 82 darkgreen some say 83 is the darkgreen..
So to specify from the Italin to german 79 ...sandgelb79a for the field mix from Italian colour...and Sandbraun 79b is the official german made colour....
by the way don't use the paint you mationed , they are no good as per colour..find something else
here is some table from one source interpretation...

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
Marco, you pointed out many versions of the colour but which is the correct one or rather which one do you think is correct? I was going to go along with FS 33434 and managed to produce it axactly by mixing Testors RLM79, white and yellow. What do you think? All iwant you to tell me is if you were painting this plane which version of the colour would you use? I need answers not more questions.
