Not disheated at all bit what started out as a nearly OOB build is going to take more time than i would like it to. But that is modeling i suppose!

Flaps look great as far as I'm concerned, but I'll let the grand master of research pass judgement

No way Wayne, ...I'm no grand master and nothing else... we all learn here, from each other... I just love the plane ...... and I'll do my very best... to see every modeler , do authentic replica models...even some AFv's modelers I try to do my best to help them ....that's it all ..
And when it comes to 109 , I could not stand it ..with all this inf.. we have...
In fact I was talking at the club , with some of you ..How ..how manufacturers do mistakes .. three trades came out with new 1/32 109's ,last one this year.. all of them with mistakes and the reveiw tell you don't worry some aftermarket will come out for correction .. I could not stand this....
Love you all happy modeling..

Brian , I'll already told you ..like it or not it's your model after all..
and I don't want to slow you or ...in your modeling time..
But now that you asked .. they look good , altough at the end of the upper flaps looks a bit thick , or the photos are not so good...
.......
Here are some , already post them but may be will be useful..

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
Marco I think you are going a bit overboard now IMHO
If I was Brian, I would definitely tell you what looks a BIT THICK & where to stick it
Bear in mind that Brian's pic is showing that flap magnified by at least X20
Sorry for being me
Just my 2c worth & I'm sure Brian can see thru your over enthusiasm as I & we ALL do
Viva l'SSM

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
marco you are right, the upper part does look thick but it isn't. The upper sheet is the kit plastic part and it has been sanded down to knife edge thickness, it is tansparent and if i sand it down more it will just disintegrate. But in reality, it looks good. Give me a chance to paint it then we will see. The lower part is a photetched sheet so it does look thinner. But the edges are both the same thickness.

Ray it-tifel fitt imma jkollok tammetti li jhobbu l-109 daqs dawl ghajnejh mela nipprova nirranga dak li jghidli imma hemm limitu sa kemm tista tasal. Besides, as you pointed out, most of these pics are close ups and the object in view is much larger than it actually is. In reality it would look good but when you magnify it then every little inaccuracy is also magnified. That's why I marvel at Louis' work, his stuff is bloody small but when he takes pics it still looks good. Imma ghalhekk certi nies huma l-Allat tal-mudelli u ohrajn le!

Bri, now that you pointed it out I have to shout IT OUT, that WHOEVER DOUBTS YOUR MODELLING PROWESS MUST BE HALLUCINATING, enlarged pics or not I WOULD NEVER DOUBT THAT YOU, BRIAN CAUCHI OF SSM WOULD COMMIT SUCH A BASIC CONSTRUCTION ERROR AS IF YOU NEVER CONSTRUCTED/SANDED DOWN A BLOODY TRAILING EDGE BEFORE???????!!!!!!!
As I told you, we ALL forgive him as he is Marco Borg of SSM & his over zealousness over anything that has wings & the 109 especially is UNDERSTOOD & MUST BE DIGESTED & ABSORBED BY ALL
Re your pics, they are spot on & don't compare your work with no one with all due respect as you rub shoulders with the Greats of Modelling INTERNATIONALLY not only locally!!!
Now get back to work as the Master is looking for the most severe punishment to inflict upon you Wing Nuts

Re: Bf109 F4 Trop.
Marco you are right, there was some extra superglue which made that corner look thick, i removed it but you have to be careful it is holding the aluminium sides to the plastic and the brass so if i remove too much, the whole thing will dismantle. i had to have a compromise here but i thinned down the aluminium sides so it all looks neater now.
