I particularly like the weathering.
Prosit.
Brian that's was my intention, to see it real , the photos don't do the justice.bcauchi wrote:Will try Ivan but it already looks like a mess to me, there is hardly any of the original paintwork showing and i don;t want to overdo it. I only used powders on the wheels and other areas where it would accumulate. I think that you need to see it in real life, it looks better than in the photos. I also feel that the interior is a bit too clean especially the floor, i put sand in the aircraft's cockpit so there should be much more in the car interior. i will try to add more dirt on the insides.
bcauchi wrote:Right here goes, the tyre marks for the rear wheel were there but got obliterated when i sprinkled the sand on the plaster base. So you are totally correct there. Guilty as charged. Maybe i can be forgiven a bit here because the weight on the tail wheel is nothing compared to that on the main wheels seeing that they bear most of the weight of the aircraft including the engine.
As for the rocks, there are only small stones where the aircraft is and if you see some photos of the actual areas, they were ver rough indeed and quite rocky. So i tried to get as close to the real thing as possible.
