Another fantastic ship model! I am just amazed at the detail you can put in. I love how you achieve such realistic water, could you please describe how you do it? I also like how good your wood deck looks, is that painted or is it real wood?
I'm starting my first ship model in probably 35-40 years (and those were just plastic battleships & aircraft carriers) among some other builds and figures, is of the USRC Bear (United States Revenue Cutter) that my great uncle served on in the mid-20s in Alaska. It's a steam/sailing ship, those sailing ships can be a steep learning curve!

Amazing work as always Louis. Yesterday I had a look at this masterpiece and I must say that I was blown away with all the tiny details you managed to include in this Battleship. The sea is also very realistic and finishes the Borodino beautifully.. Well done, really superb

Wig, i can safely repeat again what i wrote that this is your best ship build so far. after seeing it 'in the flesh' yesterday i can confirm that. Brilliant work both the ship itself and the sea. Fantastic presentation.
