Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Finally, here is the revell 110G complete. This is the only one i will have complete in time for the expo. I will try but time has become a real problem and i will not rush the other one, the base is a bit complicated with about 6 figures and a lot of other stuff. So that will have to wait for next year. hope you like this one.

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Thanks guys, glad you like it. Ray, the figures are not too nice, they were in white metal and not well detailed at all. they are also really big and that is why i did not mix them with others but kept them together on the same base. But i still like to have a figure or two near the plane. Not promising anything, life has become difficult, but i will try my best to get it over to the club tonight.

Fantastic job on the model, great detailing and weathering. The figures look really good also, especially for metal ones.

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Hi guys, first of all thanks for the comments, glad you like it. There are some points i don;t like about the base first time i tried resin for the rain puddles but overall i think it was worth the effort. I like tha atmosphere of relaxation before getting down to actually working on that engine. As for the pics, the weather was spot on yesterday for a photoshoot so it complimented the base perfectly. I will bring it along next week and also a cake since it will be my birthday on Monday. See you soon and thanks again!

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Brian, like the idea and very good use of MasterBox panzer crew ... very good combination turned into techs. Like the idea of the rainy ambience, but I find it strange that the soil area does not reflect the weather properly and neither the plane [if not rain marks on teh body as maybe the aircraft was in a mention, the tyres should be weathered a bit] ... but that is a minor comment against such a masterpiece especially the weathered bird ...

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Thanks again for your comments. Ivan, the idea is that it would have been raining prior to the scene. Both the people in the area and the aircraft are dry. I have particular areas in the soil which have puddles but these do not show up unfortunately. However, the rest of the soil does look a bit too dry and needs some idea of humidity although not soggy wet. so i will take care of that by the time i get it to the club. The tyres have dry soil on them but no mud. This is the first time for me to portray something on a wet ground so i welcome your comments. I will try to fix anything that is still fixable. By the way, i love the figures by masterbox, they are so versatile and they have some really nice adeas!

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
What a fantastic job on that Brian! You had said you had problems with the resin for the water, but it came out looking really great, and the wet wood really looks realistic. You couldn't have asked for better outside weather for taking the photos, usually that wouldn't be good weather, but it fit the diorama perfectly. Even some of the photos where you can see the old stone buildings in the background really gives it a realistic feel.
