Lou, the ship is great but i must admit that i totally agree with Ray. i would remove it altogether. I don;t like it and i don't like the colour for it either. If you really wish to have the rope i would use some of the very thin braided wiring that Joseph gave us a few weeks ago. It is very thin, very soft and workable and is braided so when painted, you would still have the rope finish to it. I would use that or else nothing, otherwise that thing is really beautiful. You are really excelling yourself here.

Hull and decks completed minus bofors, turrets, oerlikons and superstructure....regret the quality of the pics but my camera is kaput I thinks if you may notice the colours are all different

Iam sorry about the quality of the pics don't know but the actual colours are so different...have to invest in another camera I am afraid....

The rich quality of your work shows thru the poor quality of the pics JUST THE SAME, so don't worry too much re quality of the pics.....we (excluding the selected few) are all in the same bucket of lousy pic shooters

Thanks guys...yes very, very ,very and I mean very crappy pics indeed....we should organize a workshop ...subject taking decent pictures Joking apart I think it would be a very interesting subject...
All those interested should get their cameras along and maybe some photographic gurus like David, john...Tiny and the selected few can give us a few tips how to use each individual camera......
what I cant understand is sometimes my pics turn out really good....those of the expo turned out ok and sometimes ...the pics look like they have been taken by a 3 year old kid.....not that I'm not

Nice work Lou, especially the weathering on the hull!!! Very very credible. Not sure I like the buildings especially the hangars which are a wee bit too shaded but then I'm prejudiced.

Like your idea about photo taking lessons! Could do with some myself.

Aldo thanks for your kind comments....Sheds not finished yet....they were given a wash of oils in burnt umber and black and left to dry...have to be drybrushed yet and finished
