At last I've started Lt.Weymar who will be depicted just as he posed & appeared for this photo

I'm using the body of the Red Baron (ModelCellar 1:32nd Sculpted by Mike Good) for this conversion while I carefully CUT OFF THE CAP from Richtofen's head

Nice idea Ray but if you are posing on the wheels check the balance of the back and the legs and feet, it looks a bit static as it is and needs more natural weight ... see again the original foto I think the foot resting flows more the circular pattern of the wheel and the back is more leaning inwards ...

Yes sure Ivan, he's just only pinned & nothing is secure as the boots are also dissected from the ankles so the correct final alignment would be achieved

That is an old 1:32nd car tyre & had quite a difficult time with the balancing act

I'm gonna try & shoot better pics before I move on

Thought so but I would also split the palm of the foot from the arch area that would follow the wheel better as you still have a flat foot, x'tahseb? i indicated the area ...

Will leave that to the last as I would have to check it against the actual wheel & determine vis a vis how much surface area is needed or not :suspect:don't forget that you are seeing him standing "incorrectly" on a blob of white tac

Since the palm of the foot is not "hinged" from where you indicated I am finding it a bit awkward to "split" it from that spot however however

Don't forget that I still have all the necessary leverage from the ankles as they are only joined by a pin & I can/should include any "necessary movement by putty" at the base of the leather overlap where they are joined by the boots for the correct final alignment

Hope you can understand my "explanation"

From my point of view: Can the guy be so casually with one hand in pocket and holding a cane... balancing on one foot, On a wheel!?

I think he must be supporting his weight somewhere .... but is not clear in the photo. Is his right hand really in his pocket? Or is he holding the side of the jet plane?

Hoping to have all attire sans the coat ready by the end of the week

LVG is at Joseph's again after we so STRESSFULLY (especially me having to "mishandle" something which I didn't build) aligned Lt. Werner to stand/sit on the wheel

NO WAY I was gonna drill that locating hole in the wheel so I shoved the BURDEN on Joseph which he did without a sweat

At least, amidst ALL the late STRESS     I am quite happy with how the Folds on the right coat's sleeve & both breeches Unfolded
