Ray, i thought it would be better having both builds in one topic rather than creating a new thread in order to save some space of
the forum's database and make it easier for members and visitors to view. Since the aircrafts are of the same type, i just modified the title.

A bit more progress on the D, made sunshades and some anolog instruments on the dash boards


I've decided to rework the first set of ejection seats and started adding detail on all 4 pieces. Cushion covers from tin alluminium foil and seatbelts from masking tape, still have to adjust their length and add seat buckles. 


Drilled holes for armement's exhausts and glued a piece from a cotton swab on the As-30L missiles.


Especially for the outer missile pylons, i tried to make the Missile Warning System and cut off rear ends, glued a longer part from a similar pylon set and formed that kind of box with styrene sheet, not finished yet, a few more need to be done.  



There's no detail in the inside of the exhaust pipe, so i added some using thin styrene sheet.

It's been a long time since my last post but there was no significant progress. My modelling pace is slow, i have written it before.    
A finished model with a change of plans, the Kinetic kit is done but in a different profile as the French dessert N is postponed due to many mistakes and drawbacks. It's finished as a Mirage 2000-5 DDA of Qatar Emiri AF instead, in an attempt to avoid throwing it away.
Brush painted with humbrol 147 and 127, made the loads 2 wing fuel tanks and 4 matra mica missiles and put in flight display. The canopy is also painted as its transparency issues were the major problem i couldn't fix plus i am keeping the seats for a new kit.



A lot of mistakes but tried to get to the finish line.

In the meanwhile, i was working on some parts on the D version, mostly armament.

Finished the outer wing pylons and R 550 magic missiles


2 GBU-12 bombs with the AUF 2 double rack


And 2 AS-30l laser missiles
The whole set up i am inteded to use is wrong but i skip reality, as the weapons should be combined with fuel tanks.


I have decided to convert one of the Atlis pods to a PDL-CT targeting pod, closed the upper slot and created one on the underside, the camera is as a piece of round sprue i sanded to a wheel shape and the air scoop is made from a heated and stretched cotton swab.


And lastly, the ejection seats.
Made the cushions on top of the survival kit out of tin aluminium foil covered with blue 3M tape, then painted seperately and glued them on the seats along with some belts.


Still have to make the cushion covers with a few more belts and some buckles and safety pins.

The N version may have been postponed, but i have kept some finished or in progress parts as i plan to get another kit.
Among them, is the Rafaut LBF-2 practice bomb container which sadly been damaged so decided to make a new one from scratch.

1mm thick styrene sheet and some sanding to achieve the basic shape.


Filled with milliput standard, the yellow-grey two part epoxy putty and more sanding. I scibbed some panel lines and made some drilling for further detail.  



Made the release mechanisms as well, evergreen strips and sprue melted in liquid poly.


And finally the part is finished, painted and varnished.
