Re: 32nd scale Matchbox 109E
Nice paint job, Brian! A lot of yellow points .... Makes it look nice.
The rivets are nicely pronounced, probably because of the effect of the wash. Would you consider highlighting each and every rivet with a fine pointed brush? I did it on my 1/48 Eduard ME........ Of course you have a bit more there.
And..... I noticed that there is a seam running on top of the fuselage starting behind the canopy. On smaller a scales I sand this down to a smooth even finish!! Do I have to pronounce this on 1/72 and 1/48?
I look forward to decals and final finish!

Re: 32nd scale Matchbox 109E
Thanks Noel, Glad you like it,tried some new painting techniques to get a patchy paint appearance. That is not a seam but a panel line. It was actually there and there is a line of rivets on either side of it. I would not pronounce each and every rivet but only in certain areas. Will do that. Actually i would have peferred the rivets to be less pronounced and i think i made a mistake to give them a wash. Should have just applied a wash to the panel lines and let the rivets be. For the next time i suppose its too late now. Most of the decals are done.

Re: 32nd scale Matchbox 109E
So I assume that all Me's have that panel line running along the top of the fuselage. I thought the panel had only one line and that was at the bottom. So for future kits I will bring out the top panel line.
Regarding the rivets, I like the rivets pronounced..... It brings out more detail and a weathering effect.

Yes Noel, all the 109's i have built, and they are different marks, have that panel line.
