Re: Piper Kenneth MacKay
Late in my slaeep at about 04.30, I dreamt that we were at the airport ready to go to Spain, but kept wondering what I left behind during our wait to board the aircraft, I remembered asa we were called to board......I JUST LEFT MY CARRY CASE at home with the UNFINISHED Piper
...... so even in your dreams you panic at the airport?
Regards

Love the effect that really portrays what tartan is made off, wool, I like the idea that in the straight lines you see hints that the pattern is weaved, great job mate!!!!! How did you acheive that by purging the brush?

Noel, when one is so engrossed/dedicated in one's job, it becomes second nature to dream of one's job
However it wasn't just panick........it was one of Ray's typical GROSS GAFFES

Thanks mate nice purging of the brush eh
Joking apart, as I said last Wed, Pietro Balloni's master handling of Pegaso's bare chested Highlander in Class2 at last year's Euro really inspired me as never before I believed that a tartan could be painted in that lively manner!!!!

I don't think the Piper would be ready by the begining of this March
Got loads of piping to paint and have only just started the collar and shoulder straps
Did not pack much work since last Wed

Ray.......my friend............ if you reduce your 1hour forum surfing to half an hour daily you will get 3 1/2 hour extra per week!
THis is called 'painting savings time'!
My daily modelling hours are:
5:00am to 6:30am
12:00pm to 2:00pm... and time is running out........ I'm getting older far quicker than I can build!!!
Re-do your time-table, Ray!
Regards
Noel

Hi Alex,
And thank you for joining the forum for IPMS Malta, also known as IndePendent Modeling aSylum.
What you will find here is crazy people that does exactly what Ray has done with this piper.
The first time I met them I thought they were crazy, and now after almost two years of interacting with them I can verify one fact. THEY ARE FRIGGING LUNATICS!!!
But I'm proud to call me a Junior member of this bunch, and you can't find a better bunch of people.
PS.
If you do find some club that's more sane than this bunch of BROTHERS, tell me.. and I'll join in a hart beat
