Just to say that I managed to ruin the drones with a gloss varnish and not even the best Ray Bans or Oakleys would have sufficed to look at them without getting partially blinded by the SHEEN and since no welding goggles would be supplied for the Judges at shows I HAD NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO REPENT & REPAINT

i am so glad i saw Kenneth at the club yesterday. No photographer can beat seeing the real thing and i was truly amazed by what i saw, that is one real beauty. Looking forward to seeing it all done.

Stockings are done as you can see and should be moving down the gaiters and shoes today to get them/him DONE have to retouch left knee as I managed to purge it with black and when I tried to remove the dab of black, I only smeared it and made the left knee look dirty

Anyway enjoy the stockings for the time being

Brilliant work on those socks Ray. I also think that the photographer is not so bad these days. Those pics are quite good and one can appreciate the work you are doing. Great job. It is coming together beautifully.

Save for the gaiter buttons, which should be in pewter, and which I could not finish yesterday as I had to sleep early re St.Elmo this early morning , Kenneth is painted up

Hope to finish the gaiters' buttons later this afternoon after I wake up from my beauty siesta and before I go for night duty

Well I still have to ASSEMBLE head, arms, drones, blow stick, chanter and sword/scabbard + glue him to the base which I still am contemplating of how/how much wet/dry muddy weathering I should apply

Ah I forgot......knapsack & blanket roll are stuck in place

By the way what are the plans for the Malta team figures, are we exhibiting them during HIS and who is to carry them collecting them from the expo?
