slow progeress I'm afraid....had to scratchbuild the mast assembly ...had to scrap the kit's offering....not ready yet...but getting there...

the boats for the boat bay ...only the hulls were used and also corrected because they were very shallow...the rest is scratchbuilt...

thanks Mark...incidently all the decking of the baots is wood laminate...and here is the rear superstructure which needs ore work...also the AA guns which were heavily modified....the smaller AA guns were scratchbuilt...

Looking a Pola Lejburista Nannu

I had to scratchbuild the PIAGGIO P6 as the supposed to be aircraft provided with the kit was crap....

So...I have decided to display the Pola leaving Taranto Harbour...something similar to this

I have started initial works of the background scenery...here are some pics of a dry fit of a part of the structure...












now have to start work on the structure supporting the swing bridge.....a bit complicated



looking forward to the challenge though
