That's a crazy amount of detail you are putting on, am always amazed at how you can get it all looking so need, especially when some of it is so repetitive. Those planes look like they are at least 1/72 scale! Amazing work.

yes my friend it gets tedious when you have to do repetitive work for 12 or 16 aircraft....my wifes tells me I'm insane

My brother found in old Monogram 1/400 USS Enterprise at a garage sale for $2 and gave it to me, the decals are sparse, and some of the accuracy is questionable. Found some aftermarket online, but decals for the ship were $40, decals for the aircraft, $50, won't shell that much out just for decals. Will work on trying to draw my own up, but I might go crazy trying to put them on the planes :-)
Got the itch to do a ship, haven't had that in a good 40 years, picked up the Trumpeter 1/144 USS Seawolf, 29 inches long, much bigger than I was expecting. So far it's been an easy build, won't need to much cleanup or putty so far, the main hull will be interesting at around 24 inches long.

I'm hanging on tightly to the edge of the pier, I might just be slipping into the world of maritime modeling, I saw that Trumpeter has a 1/144 Gato class sub (both early & late), my favorite sub...help :-)
