hi noel dont get stuck on one thing. that is why i try to include everything in my projects. planes are nice and different to what u normally build but a mix of different models is the best thing to do.

Hi Noel, i see that you opted for a raised undercarriage, how are you going to display these models?

Re: Albatross 1/72 Declared Complete!
It depends how good the fit is to the fuselage. If the canopy sits really neat on the fuselage then white glue is enough but if it needs pressure to help it stay in place, then im afraid you will have to use some tiny spots of superglue so that you can force it to sit right. So really it is up to you to decide but if you do need superglue, just be careful not to smudge it.

Mostly I use superglue to fix the clear parts, just with a little care!
1. Tiny spots of superglue on the outside and turn the model upside down so that any fumes from the glue do not smudge the clear. Use sparingly and just 2-3 dots of glue - dry - repeat
2. before attaching with super glue make sure there are no fingerprints (NO greasy marks) especially on the outside as superglue likes these very much.
wash with soap/water + polish(I use car polish) and this will eliminate any greasy substances.
3. do not force any non fitting clear part too much otherwise you will end up having stress marks in the clear part that would be very visible.
4. Any excess superglue on the outside - no problem, use the superglue debonder. On the inside - problem because normally you cannot reach so you will have to remove clear part
5. clean and repolish - very gently!

Re: Albatross 1/72 Declared Complete!
Camo is now on.... and off for a gloss coat....... and when dry ....DECALS!!!
Question: How the hell do you mask?? I went crazy with this one!!! With a scalpel, I cut patterns in the Tamiya masking tape and placed them on the plane.... but it was a big job!!! Is there an easy way?

Don't know.... I tried it but I had problems positioning the blue-tak on the delicate small size!
