Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Thanks guys, glad you like it. the control surfaces are now primed.
Dottore, the primer i use is an aerosol, if you want the details i will check them out for you. It is primarily an automotive primer, Aldo told me about it and i haven't looked back since. Saves the airbrush, it is really bad on the airbrush when you use primer/filler.
Marco, i used evergreen strip for the rib tapes, size 0.28 x 1.09mm, sanding them after gluing. They are the best i can do, the original kit parts were horrible.

I use car primer in an aerosol can ready to spray, bought from my local auto spare parts shop....it is called COMMA an Italian brand.....finds it very suitable

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Dottore, i checked for you, yes it is plasti-kote sandable primer. As i told you it was suggested to me by Aldo and it works fine, however, it is not i am sure the only one on the market as Ray said, he uses a different brand. Might even be better, who knows. i will try it out next time i need a new can.
I have started working on the engines and the wings now. Hopefully i will soon be in a position to post more pics. All the control surfaces have been primed.

Great work as usual! I love how you did the ribs on the tail. I have some parts from a Revell 1/28 World War I model that went bad that I will use for scratch building one, I was trying to figure out how to make the ribs, I will follow what you did on the tail.

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Short update, i have works going on at home so my modeling time has been shortened terribly. i only work a bit on weekends if time permits. Here is the fuse and tailplane primed.
The rest are of the engine i have started working on. It comes from the Dragon kit. All the grey plastic is the kit part, the rest is mine.

Thanks guys glad you like it. yes, Alex, there will not be a single panel on that engine. I was hoping to get these two guys done by the end of summer but there is no way this is happening. hope to see you soon.
