Thanks Marco.Excellent reference if I decide on adding the cowling in the scene. Now I think I can do without the chain blocks and tripod and put the engine and cowling on the garage floor or on "strippi".

No mate, I wont be building the aircraft. Never thought of doing that, just the thought of it sends shiver down my spine

I s there somebody out there who can lend me a WW1 time truck tyre? I want to cast some tyres to put the engine on instead of the wooden structure in the museum's display. Alex maybe?

Eduard have this set in 48 scale... kit no 08503

I came across this set before, but was unaware that it also contains tools, grenades and a machine gun I will buy it if I decide to paint the Red baron after Werner, because I will need a mechanic. Thanks for all your help.

Le Rhone 110-120 b.p. engine arrived today :bounce:It's in Resin manufactured by Vector.
