Hi everyone, this project is now on hold because i started the 32nd scale version too. i will paint them both at the same time. this one will be a BOB scheme. Working on the old Matchbox which was kindly given to be by our president. I was going to go all the way and superdetail it but i have to change my plans. the kit is so old that just like the 24th scale model, the plastic has become brittle and is breaking off in odd places as soon as i apply slight pressure. i will just close it up and detail only the areas that show just like its larger cousin. i had already started on the engine but cannot possibly fit it in the fuselage, it has already broken from about 6 places. the simpler i keep this the better. i will start a new thread when i have something to show you....or else continue on this one. i haven;t decided yet.

Hi Brian
Glad to hear that you're working on the 32nd scale as well. Pity that the plastic won't hold but I'm sure that with your magic hands, you will create another masterpiece.
On second thoughts - now Sorry if this hurts - would you consider a wreckage dio, given that parts are breaking off? Just a different perspective.

Alex, i will do my best as usual not to abandon any kit no matter how old or how inaccurate. And this happens to be one of the most accurate 109e's around even compared to today's' offerings. So i will give it a damn good try before i give up. But smashed broken planes are not my sort of thing so i will try to put it all together.

overdue update on this model too. Here is the progress to date. Markings next. They will all be sprayed on using montex masks made just for me by my good polish friend at Montex.

Amazing! The detail you put in is so incredible!
You are definitely in a class of your own, Brian.
Are the rivet markers easy to use because I thinking to get for 1/72 and 1/48 scale?

They are, I bought mine from Radu Brinzan. Look him up and you just send for it. you get one set with wheels for all scales. That is the 24th scale 109 i had bought from your shop in GMangia before you closed. Its time finally came and I am building it. All markings are being sprayed on. Glad you like it.
