Some painting done to the cockpit. I might have gone a bit overboard with the chipping but the photos are magnified and it looks good on the real thing. Close up, they look overdone. that is the problem with close up shots.

The other side of the cockpit done. The fuselage halves were glued together yesterday.
I have just noted that i forgot to paint the cable clips. I Will try to do that now with the fuselage glued together.

The detail in the cockpit is looking great. Would love to see a photo of what it looks like to the naked eye as well, I won't be making it to the club :-)

Update!! The nose and central underside area of the model lack a considerable amount of detail. Unfortunately, in my haste to paint the underside of the cowl so that i can start spraying primer, i forgot to take a pic of the model before any paint was applied showing all the extra work. Since the engine shows through the openings on the underside i wanted to paint the cowl before so that i would not get any yellow paint on it. The radiator intake required boxing in of the sides till it meets with the radiator. I also added the splitter plate. The small opening near the nose also required detailing. I added all the panel lines on the underside which was bare with nothning there. there are a couple of small bulges and breather pipes and of course the anchor points for the extra fuel tank. The enigne will not be exposed on this model. There is also considerable detail added to the propeller hub. Also added the two small openings in front of the exhausts on both sides.

The nose looks really good re-scribed & painted up. You are really flying along on this build.

Still a very long way to go Cyril. i had to paint the yellow on the nose becaue of the various openings there are in the cowl. Everything underneath would end up yellow.
